Lottie is volunteering at Branksea Animal Shelter, helping to look after the homeless cats and dogs. One day a cardboard box is mysteriously left outside the front door with a hungry and frightened Persian cat inside. They decide to name her .
Unlike the Greek myth where a box brought unhappiness, here the arrival of Pandora is a cause for joy and fresh hope. Lottie helps to nurse Pandora back to health and make sure that her furry coat is kept clean and fluffy.
Dressed in a duffle coat with polka dot lining, pink corduroy dress, striped tights and brown and pink boots, Lottie accessorises with her cat hat and cat eyeglasses.
Did you know Lottie is different from other dolls? She is age-appropriate as she doesn’t wear makeup, high heels or jewellery and stands on her own two feet. She has a child-like body which is based on the realistic proportions of a nine-year-old girl.
